While the Low and Hi-Pad chairs were launched at Cappellini’s via Statuto showroom in Milan, I put together an exhibition at the other showroom in via Santa Cecilia called Homework, arranging an apartment mostly with the new pieces but supported by some old ones. Three or four TV monitors played films in each of the rooms: Satyajit Ray’s Pather Panchali in the kitchen, Jacques Tati’s Playtime in the bedroom, Godard’s Le Mépris in the living room and Kubrick’s 2001 in the dining room.
