XX

1998

A system for desktop filing, made of moulded polypropylene and anodised aluminium spacers. The hanging files are card and polypropylene.

Timeline

After the bottle rack I thought about doing something similar for the world of documents. In this case the extrusions were adapted to hang files from while the X was simply a graphic expression of a minimal structure required to hold everything in place. I found out that a few of these could happily store a year’s worth of our office documents and we were able to throw out the old metal filing cabinet we had used before.
