One of the most troublesome projects ever. Armchairs are always complicated, especially if they have to stack and if the design has to relate to an existing non-armchair. In this case we made four different design proposals before arriving at this one. The others were no good for various reasons like over-complex moulding requirements, structural issues or just because they didn’t look right. The ergonomics of the chair differ slightly from the original Air Chair, offering a bit more of an inclined sitting position for café situations.
