Design als Gegenstand: Der Neue Glanz Der Dinge (Design as an Object: the New Shine of Things) was a book by Rolf-Peter Baacke, Uta Brandes and Michael Erlhoff, published in Germany by Frölich and Kaufmann. It featured Jasper’s work among a hundred or so other designers of the time, both young and established. It included photographs of Jasper’s final designs from Kingston: the Sofa, the Sideboard and the Handlebar Table, and the gouache of the Bookshelf. An exhibition celebrated the book later in the year.
